Το γλυπτό έγινε με πολυμερικό πηλό (cernit) και περιέχει λαμπτήρες, μοτέρ, καλώδια, ηχείο, ενώ είναι τοποθετημένο πάνω σε πλαστικό κουτί (συσκευασία τυριού φέτα). Το ηχείο έχει τοποθετηθεί πίσω από το στόμα του γλυπτού Οδυσσέα και μπορεί να συνδεθεί μέσω βύσματος, π.χ. με MP3 player, ώστε να δίνει την αίσθηση ότι μιλάει. Η σπείρα στο κεφάλι του κινείται με ένα μικρό μοτέρ, στο οποίο παρέχεται ρεύμα μέσω ενός ευαίσθητου, περιστρεφόμενου ρυθμιστή έντασης. Αυτό επιτρέπει τη ρύθμιση της παροχής σε πολύ χαμηλά επίπεδα, ώστε το μοτέρ να περιστρέφεται με χαμηλή ταχύτητα.

The sculpture was made using polymer clay (cernit) and contains light bulbs, motors, wires, and a speaker, all mounted on a plastic box (a feta cheese container). The speaker is placed behind the mouth of the Odysseus sculpture and can be connected via an audio jack, e.g., to an MP3 player, to give the impression that it is talking. The spiral on his head is driven by a small motor powered through a sensitive, rotary dimmer/speed controller. This allows for a very low power supply, enabling the motor to rotate at a low speed.
